My wife Julie had the surgery one year earlier and had been trying to convince me to do the same. I was very reluctant and maybe a little scared. But, as I started seeing her transformation right before my own eyes I felt very excited for her as I saw her energy and self esteem improve. I started read the literature that she received from the doctor prior to first consultation, nutrition classes, surgery and post-op.

What really convinced me was on a vacation in Cabo San Lucas in August of 2015. I had my picture made next to a very beautiful young lady that was my wife, and I told her something was going have to change, because I had not realized that I was that obese. So when we got back home from vacation, she scheduled my first consultation on September 9. 2014. As of December 18, 2017, I am 234 lbs very happy, full of energy and completely changed my life. The only thing I regret is that I did not do it sooner.
