Throughout my life, I’ve struggled with being overweight. I’ve tried dieting and exercise, but I always had to stay motivated and always ended up gaining it all back, plus a little more. I moved back to Texas and saw a billboard of DFWBI everyday on my drive home. One day I said to myself, “Why not make a call? What would it hurt?” It is the best call I ever made. The staff welcomed me in and made me feel very comfortable.

On June 2, 2016, I had my gastric sleeve surgery. Before I knew it, I was shedding pounds and buying clothes. I can now be more active than ever and keep up with my girlfriends kids. My life has forever changed for the best and I am very grateful for my new lease on life. People look at me and say “Wow!! Is that really you?”, instead of saying “Wow! You’re a big guy”. I would recommend this to anyone who needs help in taking their life back from being overweight. I am truly blessed.
