Procedure: Gastric Sleeve

I struggled with weight my whole life. Last year, each day as I traveled to work I would see DFW Bariatric’s billboard and wonder if I could ever do something like that. I finally took the plunge and made an appointment to meet with him. He was so nice and helpful and answered all of my questions. I felt so good after leaving his office that day because I now knew that I could do this and get healthy! Having the inverted sleeve has changed my life! He has given me the tool that I needed to lose the weight and live a happier, healthier lifestyle! I love that his office staff is so helpful and with you every step of the way. Now that I have lost over 100 lbs. I am able to do so much more activities, which is great since I work with children as a children’s ministry director! I am also able to keep up with my three teenage sons as well. I love that I went from a size 24 to a size 8. I never dreamed in my whole life that I would ever be wearing a size 8! I am so thankful that I went that first day to meet with the team at DFW Bariatrics. I had my surgery on Sept. 29, 2014. What an amazing journey it has been. And I am now part of an awesome family of support and could not be happier! It’s about so much more than just weight loss. I am so thankful.
