My Story: I chose surgery because of my health, blood pressure and Diabetes. I could not walk very far. I had tried EVERY diet plan offered and I came to know that I could not lose the weight for good.

Besides being healthy and feeling better, confidence has set in, after the surgery. I don’t take a lot of inside abuse like I used to. I’m still working on that “new” person, as it is a process to get rid of the 50 years of old tapes that run through my head.

Favorite thing after surgery: No Drugs!

I can go to any store that I want to and shop!

People treat you so differently, men in general will hold doors and even speak to you. Everyone treats me kinder than before.
