Procedure: Vertical Gastric Sleeve

In April 2014 I was diagnosed with PCOS and was also having occasional swelling in my legs and feet. It was about a week before my 33rd birthday, I was 297lbs and I realized I never wanted to see 300 on the scale. A couple of my friends had recently had the VSG surgery with great success and no complications, so I decided to submit my information through DFW Bariatrics website to see if I qualify. My first appointment was on my 33rd birthday (4/26/14) and my Sleeve Surgery was performed 6/16/14. As of November 2015, I’ve lost 108lbs and my only regret is that I waited so long to have the surgery.
